Dallas ISD will host Discover Dallas ISD, the largest school fair in North Texas, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Automobile Building at Fair Park.
The event brings representatives from all district campuses together under one roof to showcase academic programs, extracurricular offerings, and unique learning pathways to prospective families.
In addition to exploring these opportunities, attendees will enjoy interactive, family-friendly experiences featuring 3D technology, virtual reality, robotics, drones, 3D printing, esports, LEGO activities, cosmetology, and more.
During the fair, families can apply directly to application-based schools and submit Legacy School transfer applications before the Jan. 31 deadline. While general districtwide enrollment opens in April, attending families can connect with school teams, explore campus options, and learn about upcoming campus tours and open houses.
Families will also have opportunities to receive exciting giveaways, including:
- $50 Amazon gift cards, courtesy of the Dallas Education Foundation
- $50 Walmart gift cards, courtesy of the Dallas Education Foundation
- Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark tickets
- Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center tickets
- National Videogame Museum
- Virtual-reality experience tickets
