Night at the Museum is one of the most meaningful and memorable evenings of the year for the Perot Museum,” said Dr. Linda Silver, Eugene McDermott Chief Executive Officer, Perot Museum of Nature and Science. “We are honored to have Shelly and Michael Dee chairing this year’s gala in honor of two of our original founding donors, Shelly’s parents, Sally and Forrest Hoglund. The Perot Museum simply would not exist without Sally and Forrest’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to support our mission. Building on that spirit of selfless generosity, this event helps us advance our mission even further and allows us to engage young minds all year through initiatives that expand access and foster curiosity for everyone in our community.”

Through their bold vision and determination, Sally and Forrest Hoglund helped transform the dream of the Perot Museum into a reality by merging three institutions, moving the Museum downtown, and securing a historic $185 million in private support. Sally and Forrest have exemplified a steadfast commitment to education and discovery, creating a lasting legacy of inspiring future generations through science and wonder.

“We’re honored to chair this year’s Night at the Museum gala and to carry forward the legacy of my parents and their role in the founding of the Perot Museum,” said Shelly Dee. “The Perot Museum’s programs are transforming lives by making science accessible, exciting, and inclusive. We believe every child in North Texas deserves the opportunity to explore, discover, and dream – and that’s exactly what this Museum makes possible.”
